HTML & ZIP to APK checker

Most HTML and ZIP builds that open to a blank screen fail for one of a handful of reasons. Drop your file here and we'll check for all of them — in your browser, with nothing uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Choose your file. Drop a .zip of your website, or a single .html file, onto the box.
  2. Read the results. Red items will break the app, amber items are worth fixing, green items are fine.
  3. Fix and re-check. Fix the paths or re-zip, then drop the new file in again.
  4. Build. When everything is green, build it with HTML & ZIP to APK Builder.

What it checks

  • index.html location — the #1 cause of blank-screen apps is the ZIP containing a folder instead of the files.
  • Missing files — every src, href, CSS url() and ES module import that points at a local file is matched against the ZIP.
  • Case mismatches — Windows and macOS forgive Logo.PNG vs logo.png; Android doesn't.
  • Absolute paths — /css/app.css, file:// and C:\ paths don't resolve inside an app.
  • Internet dependencies — CDN fonts and libraries won't load offline.
  • Viewport, junk files and size against the 5 MB free and 18 MB Pro limits.

Paths built dynamically in JavaScript (for example 'img/' + name + '.png') can't be checked statically — test those in the app. For the full process see ZIP to APK and HTML to APK.

Private by design: this tool runs entirely on your device. Nothing you type or add here is sent to a server.

Frequently asked questions

Is my ZIP uploaded anywhere?

No. JSZip opens it inside your browser tab; nothing is sent to a server.

Why does my APK show a blank screen?

Usually index.html is in a subfolder of the ZIP, or the page uses absolute paths. This checker flags both.

Does it check React or Vue builds?

Yes — drop a ZIP of the dist or build folder. If it reports absolute /assets/ paths, set a relative base (base: './' in Vite).

What size limit applies?

5 MB of unzipped files on the free plan and 18 MB with Pro.
